‘With the slogan ‘Poth Chherona Pother Manush’ the Street Play Festival of Prachyanat in 2012 was second of the three major events that highlighted Prachyanat’s 15 year’s journey as a theater group. The slogan ‘Poth Cherona Pother Manush’ ,that called people to stay on their path, derived from the agony of protest against the contemporary series of violent attack at the Buddhist Monastaries in Ramu, Cox’s Bazar. The three-day long festival at the Amphitheatre at Suhrawardi Udyan, Ramna exhibited street plays and improvisations, choreography performance, songs and stick fight etc. Along with Prachyanat, the other participating theater groups were Udichi Central (Drama), Opera Natyadal, Jahangirnagar Theater ( TSC), Jahangirnagar Theater (Auditorium), Natyabed and Oikik Theater.
